The Doncaster Centre for Basic Skills and Dyslexia is a basic skills centre providing the full provision of dyslexia treatment such as screening, diagnostic assessment, literacy programme, numeracy and ICT.
Our aims are to advance the education of the public who are socially or educationally disadvantaged in Doncaster and South Yorkshire in particular but not exclusively, by working with persons suffering from dyslexia, or ethnic minority groups suffering from some other disability, so as to develop their vocational and life skills in such a way that they are better able to identify and help meet their needs and to integrate more confidently in society.
We offer one to one tuition from 14 upwards and provide ECDL for beginners and advanced level, CLAIT and PC Engineering. We also offer E1, E2, E3, Level 1 and Level 2 Numeracy & Literacy and ESOL classes and have full access for disability.
The Doncaster Centre is fully committed to the equal opportunities act.
Close to the bus and train station, we are just 1 minute off the town centre.
